We all have been a bit out of sorts from Christmas. Routines are all flipped around and we are slowly getting cleaned up and back into a routine with the kids back in school today.
Christmas was so wonderful this year, but full of sugar and then a stomach bug after it all. I’m really trying to get the kids back into the swing of their normal diets. I had some fresh strawberries in my refrigerator that were about to go if left another day, so I thought I’d blend up a quick “treat” for the kiddos.
Did you know that the strawberry milk they serve kids at school contains up to 20 grams of sugar PER cup? It also contains Red-40.. gross! Red-40 is linked to behavioral issues including difficulty learning.. yet they serve it in the lunch room. So sad.
My 3-Ingredient Strawberry Milk has none of that crap and the kids LOVE it. Oh, the best part? It takes less than a minute! 🙂
3-Ingredient Healthy Strawberry Milk

- Blender
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Organic Whole Milk
- 1 Cup Fresh Strawberries
- 2 tbsp Honey Local and raw is best
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients into a high-speed blender. Strain if desired. Serve cold!
