16 Adorable Christmas Food Ideas for Kids!

December 11, 2022

Hey guys!! Right around Halloween of this year I was getting pretty bored with the standard breakfast and lunches that I was making for the kids.. so I decided to start making it a little more fun for them and it kind of took off. I posted one of the lunches on my tiktok (@thewholesomefoodie) and I could not believe that it went viral!

I have really developed a passion for fun food ideas, so naturally I couldn’t wait for the Christmas season to come so I could start doing fun Christmas meals for them!

I try to always do meals as balanced as I can. I sneak veggies in wherever I can and make sure they’re getting adequate protein and not all carbs and sugar. You’ll notice that sometimes I use low-sugar substitutes that are naturally sweetened for my kids. I know that I can’t control my kids at school, but when they’re home I can control the nutrition in their meals, and that’s good enough for me!

I have compiled a list of fun Christmas food ideas for kids (both mine and others I’ve found online) and ha ve included credit for each one to the best of my ability! I hope you enjoy! Let me know which ones you plan on trying

My top 16 Cute Christmas Ideas for Kids!
How cute are these Chistmas tree pizzas!? They are from julieseatsandtreats.com. Kids can decorate these with their own veggies and pepperoni. So fun!

These adorable reindeer sloppy joe sandwiches! Add some pretzles for antlers, cheese for eyes, and olives for the nose. You can see Rudolph in the front has a cherry tomato nose. Too cute! Idea courteousy of Kitchen Fun with my 3 Sons.
Reindeer “celery and peanut butter. Add candy eyes, pretzles for antlers, and candy for the nose! I like to use all-natural keto “m&ms” for the kiddos. You can find them here. I found this idea from “Family Fresh Meals” on Pinterest!
How adorable is this little Christmas penguin? I used low-sugar nutella *which you can find here), keto tru-whip for his body. To make the melted snowman, simply use some greek yogurt, candy eyes, an orange sliver, and pretzles. My kids LOVE this. The Christmas tree is kiwi, berries, and a food pick for the star. This is one of my ideas from @thewholesomefoodie IG
These adorable elf pancakes are from @heathercoxzzz (Instagram and Tiktok. I am obsessed!
These owl pancakes are super simple! Just slice some apples, cut out some pieces of bananas and oranges, and the hat are raspberries, tru-whip, and a marshmallow on top! This is one of my ideas from @thewholesomefoodie IG
This is probably one of my favorites that I’ve made. The reindeer was inspired from Pinterest and the Snowman is a hardboiled egg cut in half. I used food marker for his buttons, eyes, and mouth, and his scarf is a sliced red bell pepper! This is one of my ideas from @thewholesomefoodie IG
These amazing Grinch skewers from Amelia Wood on Pinterest.
This one was un-tagged from Pinterest, but I am digging this adorable Santa Clause made with panckes and fruit.
We tried something new and ate dragofruit! I cut them to look like trees. The reindeer toast is made from toasted bread, peanut butter, low-sugar nutella from choczero, and candy eyes! You can find the nutella here.
I have been wanting to try this cute eggs in a hole breakfast idea from DelilahsPartyides.com. Decorate the trees with herbs and veggies!
This one was so fun! This is a Grinch wrap I made by cutting out his face shape with 2 spinach tortillas on tp of each other, then I added his face with edible food marker (we don’t use this too often because of artificial colors, but it’s so fun once in a while! Add whatever filling you’d like in this sandwich. Complete the meal with fruit and yogurt.
Totally loving this Reindeer hash brown uploaded to Pinterest by Jody Swango.
I can’t get over this adorable toast from @eatingwithwinnie on Instagram!
These pancakes are so fun! I cut out a shape on one pancake, added chocozero nutella to the other, topped the cutout one over the un-cut one, then added all-natural sprinkes from Superatural sprinkles. You can find the link here.
