Hey everyone! I hope you are enjoying every last bit of your summer! There’s nothing better to end the Summer than with some Barbecue! I was really craving pulled pork, so I decided to figure out how to make it 21-DF approved! I’ve been really sticking with the program and have already lost 7 pounds this round! Ingredients
- 1 medium-sized lean pork loin
- 1 bottle of Stubbs Chile Lime and Ginger Simmer Sauce. Check out the ingredients here!
- 1/2 cup apple sauce
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon low-sodium tamari
Process (You will need a slow-cooker)
1. Pour all ingredients into a slow cooker. Every few hours, spoon simmer sauce over pork to assure every bit of the pork is getting cooked with that flavor.
2. Simmer on low for 12-14 hours.
3. Cool for 30 minutes, and then pull apart with 2 forks.
4. That’s it! Use as desired. We turned this pulled pork recipe into Pulled Pork pizzas last night!
